Key Features

Advanced technical for your Applications.

Flexibility

PNC sensor material can be processed in various shapes and sizes to meet specific requirements.

High Sensitivity

Developed for accurate measurements even with minimal forces.

Secure

Ideal for use in a wide range of applications, from automation technology to medical technology.

Strategic

Engineered to withstand harsh conditions while maintaining performance integrity.

INNOVATIVE PNC MATERIAL CORE

Specific advantages

Using our proprietary PNC material as the core innovation of our sensor kit, we achieve the highest performance with our own specially developed readout electronics.

Various readout methods

The PNC material can utilize resistance or impedance to interpret mechanical force into an electrical signal.

Compression in microns

The PNC material has a thickness of 0.4 millimeters and allows precise measurement of up to 85 micrometers of compression.

Absolute measurements

PNC material changes its electrical conductivity through compression. In a compressed state, the measured values remain constant without the need of a null reference point.

Long-term stability

If the PNC material is subjected to a long-term load, the sensor material returns to its original shape and is not deformed.

Overload resistance

The PNC material is saturated with 200N for a sensor with a diameter of 20 mm, but the material is not destroyed by overloads of up to 6200N.

Temperature stability

The base material is a medical-grade elastomere. The handling temperature of the PNC material is from -20 to 230°C and has not shown degradation in this temperature range.

What is the NanoSen force sensing material made of?

It is made from a polymer nanocomposite (PNC), combining a medical-grade polymer with conductive nanoparticles.

What is the minimum and maximum size available for sheets of PNC force sensing material?

The material is produced as sheets with minimum dimensions of 15 cm x 15 cm and maximum dimensions of 45 cm x 40 cm.

Can I create custom sensors from the PNC material sheets?

Yes, individual sensor pieces can be easily cut from the sheets and paired with a suitable electrode to create customized force sensors.

What services does your offer besides the standard kit?

Our specializes in large-scale manufacturing of force sensing materials, offers customized sensor designs and scalable solutions, and provides expert support from product selection to implementation.
